day trip

on saturday we hopped over the border and went to a zoo in south carolina.  

caroline could spend all the live long day reading her animal books so we were especially excited to take her.

i still laugh at hallie's first trip to the zoo...yay for archives!

this post is caroline heavy but while the camera was out i was pretty focused on capturing her expressions.

 i am a sucker for pictures of the girls lined up like this.

 my favorite mommy moments are when the kids do something that has nothing to do with me.  totally unprompted, hallie was showing caroline a baby gorilla statue.
